oftentimes when i’m doing my research methodology assignment, or when i’m doing my internship report, or anything related to research and thesis i felt like giving up. you know… the feeling of despair and hopelessness.
i felt so tired. it was like a never ending journey and at some point, i really wanted to cry
but then suddenly, i was always reminded of His words
…and despair not of relief from Allah. Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people (Q.S. Yusuf: 87)
well most of the time i felt a bit relieved after re-read His promise and was able to continue my assignment
i hope everyone of us will be reminded that His help is near…
Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said,”When is the help of Allah ?” Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near. (Q.S. Al-Baqarah: 214)
