I’m Not Giving Up Because of You

oftentimes when i’m doing my research methodology assignment, or when i’m doing my internship report, or anything related to research and thesis i felt like giving up. you know… the feeling of despair and hopelessness.

i felt so tired. it was like a never ending journey and at some point, i really wanted to cry

but then suddenly, i was always reminded of His words

…and despair not of relief from Allah. Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people (Q.S. Yusuf: 87)

well most of the time i felt a bit relieved after re-read His promise and was able to continue my assignment

i hope everyone of us will be reminded that His help is near…

Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? The universe might work in a way we can hardly understand. One day we fall in love with someone and the next day it’s gone. It’s funny to see how someone who used to mean everything to you now only means nothing. But that’s life, I guess. We love but sometimes we’re hurt, too. Yet that shouldn’t stop us believing that maybe someday, somewhere, and somehow in this wonderful universe, we’ll find the right one that will complete our life as a whole…
